Examining the Tensions In the United States of America

In this Panel Discussion, we want to examine some of the tensions within the United States- from the Trump administration, the election, to the Washington Riots that have revealed about the nature of American society and the health of their democracy.

We are joined by Dr. Jermaine McCalpin, Political Scientist at New Jersey City University, and Dr. Nicosia Shakes, Assistant Professor in the department of history and critical race and ethnic studies at the University of California, Merced.
