In a devastating incident, a 77-year-old man lost his life as his house was engulfed in flames in Braco District, Duncans, Trelawny, on Wednesday. Vincent Hayden, a caretaker, perished in the fire, prompting concerns among relatives who now await the results of the investigation to determine if foul play, particularly arson, was involved.
The Rio Bueno Police received reports around 7:00 p.m. when residents noticed smoke emerging from Hayden’s three-bedroom dwelling. Upon their arrival, law enforcement discovered Hayden’s charred remains amidst the rubble. A family member, expressing grief, described the senior citizen as a kind and loving individual, leaving a void in the hearts of many.
