The Overseas Examinations Council (OEC) and the Ministry of Education have united their efforts to tackle local breaches in CXC exams. Recent incidents have spurred urgent collaboration aimed at bolstering exam security. In May this year, students managed to access the Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) Mathematics Paper 2 scripts several hours before the scheduled exam.

Furthermore, a cabinet containing completed exam scripts was subsequently stolen from a local high school and remains unrecovered. Dr. Kasan Troupe, the Permanent Secretary at the Education Ministry, referred to the incident as a national embarrassment. Watch the report:
