Teacher migration-related issues, rise in book costs, and the possibility of transportation woes are growing concerns. However, the Minister of Education was hopeful for a seamless resumption of the new school term starting September 5.

While excited to see the students return for the first time since 2020, Minister Williams reminded everyone to expect heavy traffic as thousands of teachers and students return to the classrooms. Face-to-face learning was disrupted due to the covid 19 pandemic, consequent to which several stakeholders expressed concerns about the learning loss suffered due to unprecedented online learning methods.

The Minister anticipated a massive turnout, even though some students have already adjusted to face-to-face learning since march this year, this will be the first September when students will be able to return fully to the usual teaching-learning environment. Minister Williams was looking forward to visiting several schools. Watch the report for more:
