The logistics and capacity for storage of the COVID-19 vaccines will be no issue when the island receives its first shipment. That’s according to the Minister of Health and Wellness, Dr. Christopher Tufton who visited the National Health Fund’s warehouse on Marcus Garvey Drive, which will be the central location for vaccine storage.

Dr. Tufton also toured the ministry’s warehouse where syringes and other equipment will be stored.

He adds that approximately five hundred and fifty (550) medical personnel who will be administering the vaccine have already completed training. Meanwhile, the opposition people’s national party is of the view that vaccine distribution should have already begun.
