Early Wednesday morning, members of the Jamaica Association of Public Dental Surgeons organized a protest in front of the Transformation Implementation Unit of the Ministry of Finance. They gathered to voice their concerns, emphasizing what they believe to be unfair treatment of their members regarding wages.

Their primary demand is salary equity with other groups who they believe have been granted livable wages. Dr. Vanessa Kiffin, the President of the Association, highlighted the disparity where employees are earning more than their supervisors.
