There is a renewed appeal for the relevant authorities to fix non-functioning street lights along Montego Bay’s Elegant Corridor as people continue to perish especially on the Rose Hall main road.  But motor vehicle accidents are also being blamed for putting sections of the corridor in darkness. 

Councillor for the Rose Hall Division, Anthony Murray says several calls to the National Works Agency (NWA) and the Tourism Enhancement Fund (TEF) to repair defective street lights, have seemingly fallen on deaf ears. However, a recent tragedy has him pleading with them once more.
