Come 2022, the police will be taking a more aggressive approach against criminals who continue to wreak havoc across the country. That’s according to Deputy Commissioner of Police and Head of Crime, Fitz Bailey, who was speaking at an emergency conference on Friday.

Crime and violence continue to be a major threat to sustainable development across the country; disrupting stability, stifling the island’s economic progress, and holding people and communities captive.

DCP Fitz Bailey while reflecting on the year 2021 says that come 2022 a more aggressive approach will be taken to root out criminal elements. Bailey points out that intelligence-driven operations have significantly increased over the years as the force continues to tackle organized crime.
