On some home matters, CVM News correspondent Kirk Hall was among the stalwarts in the media honored by the Press Association of Jamaica (PAJ) for excellent contribution to journalism.
During the PAJ’s annual Veteran’s Luncheon held at the Medallion Hall Hotel in St. Andrew, Hall was acknowledged for devoting over 26 years of service to the field and remaining committed as a videographer and parish correspondent at CVM TV.
He shared one of his most memorable moments on the job: covering the hijacking of a plane at the Donald Sangster International Airport. For Hall, working with CVM has been ‘one of his greatest pleasures,’ and he anticipates many more good years to come. He also extended thanks to the PAJ for recognizing and appreciating his hard work. The luncheon was part of Journalism Week, which will end on Saturday with the PAJ’s Annual Awards at the Courtleigh Auditorium in New Kingston.
