A memorandum of understanding was signed between the Child Protection and Family Services Agency, CPFSA and 13 partners to the Ananda Alert System. This partnership is expected to bolster efforts in bringing missing children safely home. The CPFSA and other agencies met on Friday for a signing ceremony regarding the Ananda Alert System.

Chief Executive Officer at the CPFSA, Rosalee Gage-Grey says the aim of the partnership is to bring every missing child home. She notes in recent years the number of missing children has declined. Mrs. Gage-grey says there’s a campaign being launched for children who’ve returned home and have not been reported.

She adds other partners are on board as it relates to providing psycho-social support for children.
