Covid Resilience in Tourism to Receive Boost

Jamaica’s tourism sector is expected to benefit from statements made by the Chief Medical Adviser to the President of the United States that the US is no longer in the pandemic stage. Senior Advisor and Strategist in the Tourism Ministry, Delano Seiveright, welcomed the message. 

He’s also urging citizens to get vaccinated. After chief medical adviser to the president of the United States, Anthony Fauci, announced that the US is out of the covid-19 pandemic stage. Delano Seiveright, declared it as positive news for Jamaica as it reinforces the importance of people getting vaccinated.

The move is expected to strengthen Jamaica’s tourism resilience. Seiveright continues to urge citizens to get vaccinated.
