More concerns about the desire for heightened security during the Christmas season. Noting the repeated instances of robbery in the space, Head of the Manchester Police Superintendent Shane McCalla is urging business persons to invest in personal security professionals to protect their business.

While noting the police’s dedication to doing the same, he says private security can help deter criminals from entering the space. Adding, the police can assist with background checks on individuals, per their request.  Meanwhile, he says the police will also be limiting the number of events in the space if they are believed to be posing a security threat to the area.

He further added these events should also have security arrangements in place to transport the money they collect. As he extends the call to persons who traverse with large sums of cash, to acquire the services of a security company. He was addressing these security concerns at the parish council meeting.
