Justice Minister Delroy Chuck mounted another defense of the Andrew Holness-led administration’s latest controversial move to retroactively extend the Director of Public Prosecutions’, DPP, tenure. 

Justice Minister Delroy Chuck is dismissing comments made by the opposition in expressing their discontent At the government’s move to increase the retirement age for the director of public prosecution, the DPP, and the auditor general. The opposition according to Chuck is imputing the government’s decision so the DPP can overrule matters regarding the six parliamentarians who are being investigated by the Integrity Commission. A stance Chuck describes as unfair and unbecoming.  Watch the report:
