CARPHA to launch regional vaccination campaigns: With the recent rollout of COVID-19 vaccines in parts of the world, one regional health organization is making plans to initiate public education campaigns across the region on vaccinations.
Carlon Kirton, Communications Manager, CARPHA, in the release says communicators play a key role in public health risk management as they provide vital information and counter misinformation so that targeted audiences can make informed decisions. She further states risk communication and community engagement strategies, along with messaging are essential points.

She further stated that “risk communication and community engagement strategies, along with messaging were essential touch points during the meeting, as regional communicators are currently developing awareness and health promotion campaigns in preparation for the roll-out of covid-19 vaccines in the Caribbean.”
