A student at the Buff Bay High school is reaping the rewards of his kindness when the grade nine student returned a lost phone to a Police Officer he was doubly rewarded by several stakeholders in the community.

Our news team was there when his school family publicly affirmed his good deed. A grade nine student at the buff bay high school was in for a surprise on Monday morning. Rodane Green was lauded for his honesty and kindness after returning a phone to Police Officer Michael Wright. The officer arrived in Port Antonio after a long journey, only to realize his phone was missing. While he was retracing his steps, Rodane was finding a way to return the device.

Overcome with gratitude, constable wright decided to repay the student who himself was without a phone. Rodane admitted that he was initially hesitant to do the right thing. Form Teacher Radika Robins was instrumental in spreading word of Rodane’s act.

Eager to commend Rodane who, by then, missed school for 2 days she called his mother. Rodane was also granted an honorary integrity ambassadorship at his integrity club for doing the right thing even when no one was looking.
