Residents of the Bounty Hall community in Trelawny took to the streets today, protesting the lack of water in their community. The residents say the problem is further compounded by receiving bills despite not having the commodity.

They tell CVM LIVE they have been without water for a considerable period, despite incessant pleas. Councillor for the Wakefield Division, Jonathan Bartley, says he along with members of the community, has been without consistent water for over eight weeks.  He says the national water commission reservoir connected to their pipelines is insufficient.
