Lawyers representing sprint legend Usain Bolt have issued an ultimatum to the Stocks and Securities Limited directors demanding a reimbursement of their client’s well over 12 million us dollars by January 26. That or the company will face criminal and civil lawsuits.
This was among the latest developments following the launch of a fraud investigation into a billion-dollar fraud impacting over 3 dozen clients of the private investment firm. In a letter dated January 16, the lawyers note that their client was dependent on the missing millions for his pension.
It also notes that the retired athlete would have had this money in his account up to early October 2022 before it mysteriously vanished. Bolt is being represented by Frater, Ennis and Gordon.
