Police have confirmed that the body of a male student was discovered in his room in a hall of residence at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona shortly before noon today. His identity has not yet been released as it’s still unclear if his family has been notified of his passing. CVM Live source says the student was epileptic and may have suffered a seizure in his room. He was said to be a final-year student at the Caribbean Institute of Media and Communication (CARIMAC).
