The police have discovered another body in Spanish Town, St. Catherine, with gunshot wounds. This is again being linked to an ongoing gang feud in the parish. The body has been identified as that of 30-year-old Rayon Daley of Bog Walk, St. Catherine. It was found on the compound under a tree, with multiple gunshot wounds.

This comes on the heels of an active gang feud in the parish, and follows several similar discoveries this week. Head of the JCF‘s corporate communications unit, Senior Superintendent Stephanie Lindsay says the police have already launched an investigation into the matter.

She’s reminding residents to cooperate with the police to help restore peace to their communities. The police believe the killing was done elsewhere and the body dumped at the car wash. Meanwhile, the State of Emergency declared in the area is expected to reduce future crimes such as these. In fact, the police have confirmed that a person of interest has been detained in Gregory Park, since the imposition of the SOE Friday morning.

Spanish Town residents are hoping for similar results in their city.
