The search is on for gunmen, believed to be responsible for Sunday night’s deadly attack at the China Harbour Engineering Company (CHEC) premises, in Plantation Heights, St. Andrew.
The bodies of two security guards were found with gunshot wounds, one in the trunk of a car and the other in bushes on the compound. A third security guard was missing, but was later discovered, unharmed.
CVM LIVE understands that on Sunday night at approximately 11 0′ clock, armed men entered the premises of the CHEC in plantation heights, St. Andrew. Reports are that several explosions were heard, and the police were summoned to the area. Operations officer for St. Andrew South, Deputy Superintendent Coleridge Minto says when they arrived and checked the premises, two security guards were seen suffering from gunshot wounds.
But the missing police officer’s vest and radio were found at another area of the property. Moments later, DSP Minto says he was found and was immediately questioned.
