Shortly after the Brown’s Town Courthouse was destroyed by fire in February, Attorneys and other Legal workers were relocated to the Brown’s Town police station

However, the relocation is being described as a safety threat. Fire gutted the Brown’s Town Courthouse in St. Ann one month ago sentencing attorneys, court clerks and administrators to a temporary relocation to a room at the back of the brown’s town police station for court proceedings.

However, they’re complaining as they insist the relocation is uncomfortable and isn’t conducive to carrying out their work. She says it’s also unsafe for counsels as the small working space results in them being in dangerously close proximity to the accused. Meanwhile, prominent criminal attorney Oswest Senior-Smith says he understands the police station was selected so jailers wouldn’t have to travel too far to attend court.

However he insists that reason is still not good enough. The February 13 inferno saw the authorities saving only a few charred written judgments aside from the building’s structure.
