St. Ann detectives are currently investigating a tragic incident that resulted in the loss of two lives. In this incident, one individual is reported to have fatally shot another, only to meet a similar fate during a confrontation with an associate of the initial victim. He intended to take another life but, in doing so, lost his own.
While the identity of the individual responsible remains undisclosed, reports from the St. Ann Police indicate that at approximately 2 a.m. on Sunday, one of the deceased, identified as Daniel Whorms, also known as ‘Shaggy,’ a contractor from Lillyfield District, Bamboo, in St. Ann, was returning home from a party with his friends. During their journey, a lone gunman on foot approached and opened fire, striking Whorms multiple times. A struggle ensued between Whorms’ friend and the assailant, resulting in the gunman being shot in the left eye. Law enforcement was promptly called to the scene, and both injured men were transported to the hospital, where they were later pronounced dead.
