A six-year-old boy lost his life in an attempted robbery in the Duhaney Park community this morning. According to the authorities, at around 8 AM, the child and his father were leaving their home when three individuals in a white Toyota Probox attempted to intercept their vehicle.
The father reportedly managed to maneuver his way out of the situation while under fire from the attackers. The police report that the father, fortunately unharmed, quickly drove away, only to realize that his son had been shot, allegedly in the head. Regrettably, the child was rushed to the Kingston Public Hospital (K.P.H.), where he later succumbed to his injuries.
