138 Student Living Predicts 90% Occupancy for UWI Students

The CEO of 138 Student Living Jamaica Limited announced the increasing number of University students interested in their dormitory units. As the upcoming academic school year draws near, the 7th Annual General Meeting of the 138-Student Living was held to discuss the organization’s operations. An audit was conducted with international ethics standards, to have an honest review of the organization’s finances. Speaking at the meeting, the CEO, Cranston Ewans announced an estimated 90 per cent occupancy guaranteed at the University of the West Indies.

Ewans says there is strong demand for student accommodation for the upcoming school year, adding that the organization plans to facilitate as many students as possible. Despite setbacks that the organization suffered during the first year of the pandemic, Ewans says they were able to recover, and are looking forward to continued success.

He says the organization plans to continue providing excellent living conditions for residents and increased profits for shareholders, by focusing on operations efficiency.
