The Jamaica Football Federation is deeply saddened by the passing of Dr. Charlie Roberts. Doctor Roberts was a vital member of the support staff for Jamaica’s team which qualified for the FIFA World Cup in 1998, providing physiotherapy at home or away. “He was always on call, ensuring that the players returned to the field soon after injuries,” said JFF President Michael Ricketts. “He was outstanding in this regard. His loyalty and commitment to the cause was unquestioned. To his wife Denise, family and friends, please accept our deepest sympathy for your loss. May his soul rest in peace.”
