Over twenty-three thousand (23,000) students logged on between Monday, July 5, 2021, and Tuesday, July 6, 2021, for the start of the online component of the National Summer School programme. Students are provided lessons on platforms including the Learning Hub, EduFocal, and One on One Educational Services Limited. The face-to-face aspect of the programme has begun today, Tuesday, July 6, 2021.

Teachers have recommended over 58,000 students for the face-to-face component and 5,500 tutors have indicated their interest in working in the programme.

Members from the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information have mapped approximately 20,000 of the students and tutors to schools for face-to-face and will continue to adjust as the numbers grow.

Selected persons have been notified to report to school today and the other groupings will report tomorrow due to scheduling of the space as guided by the COVID-19 protocol.

Registration details for the online component are provided in the table below along with a link for teachers who may be interested in working as Tutors online.
