DPP Lauds Police Work In Several High Profile Cases

Inviting stakeholders to join in on her team’s win in the matter concerning Westmoreland murder convict Lindell Powell, Director of Public Prosecutions Paula Llewelyn exclaimed at last! The pendulum of justice now swings both ways.

However, the streak extends beyond the latest matter for her office and the team of law enforcement officials with whom she has worked on a few highly publicized cases. She loudly celebrated the efforts of the police who she notes have even had to investigate one of their own in relation to the disappearance of Social Media Influencer Donna Lee Donaldson.

While that matter remains before the court, she lauded the swift and hard work of the police in closing the Cocoa Piece murder with success.

The accused in that matter has been since sentenced to life in prison with parole likely only after  60 years.
