Worldwide, persons are recovering from COVID-19; however, they are still forced to observe quarantine rules.

However, Chile is seeking to become the first nation to lift restrictions on recovered COVID-19 patients with the issuance of an immunity passport or “risk-free certificate” that would enable individuals to travel or to return to work assuming that they are protected against re-infection.

Should Jamaica follow suit?

To discuss the pro’s and con’s of the strategy we are joined by Dr. Wilmore Webley, from the department of microbiology at the University of Massachusetts and Dr. Joshua Anzinger from the Department of microbiology, (virology), UHWI/UWI and a member of the COVID-19 Task Force, and a part of the Global Virus Network.
