Causing approximately $13BN in damage to the worlds marine ecosystem every year, single use plastics and Styrofoam have also wrought untold damage on the land as well, however the time has come were its convenience no longer outweighs the cost to the environment as over 60 governments across the world including Jamaica  have introduced bans on several forms of plastic.

According to the European environment programme (UNEP).  “Tackling one of the biggest environmental scourges of our time will require governments to regulate, businesses to innovate and individuals to act.”
