How Are Jamaican Women Coping With The COVID-19 Pandemic- Contrary to trends worldwide, Jamaica’s women have been disproportionately affected by the outbreak of COVID-19 with women representing 59% of confirmed cases.

 Additionally, mothers have been bearing the brunt of the burden of educating their children who are currently out of school, and experts admit to being wary of an increase in domestic violence during the stay-at-home measures.
