<p>The Supreme Court of Jamaica has once again granted an injunction against the St. Catherine Football Association, this time halting the finals of the Division One Competition scheduled for June 22, 2025. The injunction was secured by New Raiders Football Club following a sanction imposed by the Association on June 2, which revoked points earned in a March 29 match against Gregory Park FC. The Association claimed New Raiders fielded ineligible players, despite previously granting them permission to use those players. Attorneys Sarah-Elizabeth Dixon and Sean-Christopher Castle successfully argued the sanction was unjust and untimely. Justice A. Jarrett ruled in favour of the club, preventing the finals from proceeding until the matter is resolved. The Association&rsquo;s executive failed to attend the court hearing despite being notified.</p>
