Cabinet Reshuffle: Changes and New Ministries

Prime Minister Andrew Holness reshuffled his cabinet on Monday, January 10, after he signaled his intent in the previous year. Some Jamaicans describe the reshuffle as a soft shuffle.

Among the reassignments, Pearnel Charles Jr will now assume the Agriculture and Fisheries Ministry, and Dr. Derrick McKoy is now Attorney General, Marlene Malahoo Forte heads the Ministry of Legal and Constitutional Affairs.
