62-year-old Garth Kerr otherwise called ‘Spider Man’ was shot and killed by unknown assailants at his cook shop in Great River, Hanover early Saturday morning. Kerr was beginning food preparations for the day.
Residents reportedly heard three loud explosions and a motor vehicle speeding away.
It was after that, Kerr was found lying on his side with a gunshot wound. His widow Veronica told our news team, Kerr was loved by all. As news of Kerr’s death spread through the area the crowd began to swell.
Onlookers were visibly shaken up by the murder. One lawman seized the opportunity to seek the resident’s support in their investigation.
This murder follows Friday’s execution-style shooting of another businessman in West Gate, St. James.
