He was released from prison later that year and Thomas says he has not received his glasses.  Several attempts to get his eyewear from been unsuccessful. From writing to the  Department of Co-operatives and Friendly Societies (DCFS), his Member of Parliament, the Ministry of Justice, and the Horizon Adult Remand Centre where he had all been futile.  Now employed at a prominent high school, Thomas says he’s been given a second chance but is unable to fulfill his duties without his glasses.
