Update: 3.7 Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Jamaica

Update: The UWI Earthquake Unit has reported a magnitude 3.7 earthquake was felt in sections of the island at approximately 2:52 am on June 14, 2020. The earthquake’s epicentre was 7km north of Penlyne Castle, St. Thomas with a focal depth of 20km

Earlier reports had 4.3 magnitude earthquake by the Instituto Nicaragüense de Estudios Territoriales’s, earthquake monitoring tool.

A steady flow of citizens from St Catherine, Kingston and St Andrew reported feeling and hearing tremors.
