A 16 year old student of Holmwood Technical High School is suspected to have died by suicide in Stettin, Trelawny.
Police say the teen's stepfather woke up at about 1:00 a.m. and saw him in the kitchen saying he was going to prepare something to eat.
The family woke up &nbsp;this morning to find him dead in the kitchen.
Sources say the boy was bullied at school.
His mother has since been taken to hospital.
This is the third reported death by suicide since July by a teenager in Jamaica.&nbsp;
On September 11, a student of Hopewell High is suspected to have died by suicide in Lilliput, St James before that, in July, a teen of Knox College in Clarendon also died by suicide.&nbsp;
Police data indicate that the number of deaths by suicide is on the rise on the island.
