More must be done to protect our children (April 2, 2019)

Following the murder of two of the nation’s children, State Minister in the Ministry of Education, Youth and Information, Hon. Alando Terrolonge is encouraging the public to cooperate with the police to bring the perpetrators to justice.

Eight year old Shantae Skyers of Sterling Castle Heights, St. Andrew, was killed on her way home from school and Eleven year old Trisha Morris was found dead in her Woodland District community in the parish of Hanover, after being reported missing.

The State Minister called on the country to help protect the nation’s children. Meanwhile, CEO of the Child Protection and Family Services Agency, Rosalee Gage-Grey agrees with the state minister and said that plans to bring more awareness to the communities are being implemented.
