The Jamaica Labour Party were out in campaign mode in Porus Manchester recently.

Supporters were out in their numbers wearing green ready to hear their elected representatives speak about pressing issue in the island.

The Jamaica Labour Party has been visiting several divisions to speak with residents.

Senator Kamina Johnson Smith says residents should ensure that they are enumerated and prepared to play their role in enabling the JLP to remain as government for another term.

She urged residents to be mindful of those who spoke against the government and had no proposed solution or plan in fixing issues. She lauded the JLP for being a party of action and remaining committed to listening to the voice of the people.

The Senator also added that members of the Jamaica Labour party should continue on its plan despite the utterances being made by the People’s National Party.

The Minister if Transport and Mining Robert Montague was also present at the meeting. He urged supporters to not be too comfortable with the party’s current success. He says elected officials have to continue working  to keep the party in power.
