Jamaican Females In Politics: What Are Their Views?

Over the years, there has been an increase in the number of females participating in Jamaica’s politics. The political involvement of women is a fundamental prerequisite for gender equality, genuine democracy, and fostering social progress. In this segment, Joan Gordon Webley, (PNP) candidate for St. Andrew East Rural and Government senator, Dr. Saphire Longmore, (JLP) discussed the contribution of women in politics and the balance of men versus women in today’s representational politics.
