Unicycle’s 5th drive, in collaboration with Fontana, the Ministry of Education and Youth’s National Education Trust, and Campion College, set out to make a significant impact. The project’s primary objective is to ensure that all Unicycle recipient schools receive essential information on adopting a zero-waste approach. Inspired by the successful zero waste weeks organized by Campion College’s Green Generation, led by Greenland, in recent years, the initiative seeks to promote lifestyle changes and greater awareness of waste reduction. Exciting activities like ‘Meatless Mondays,’ clothing drives, device power-down practices, and transforming old t-shirts into tote bags are among the key endeavours. Founder of Unicycle, Rhys Greenland and Community Outreach Coordinator of the Unicycle tell us more on Sunrise.
