The Poppy Appeal, led by the Jamaica Legion, stands as a charitable initiative dedicated to supporting veterans, serving personnel, and their families. Generous donations fuel essential services such as rehabilitation, financial aid, and mental health care. In collaboration with the Jamaica Defence Force and under the distinguished patronage of His Excellency Sir Patrick L Allen, ON, GCMG, CD, KSTJ, The Governor General of Jamaica, they proudly present ‘The National Poppy Appeal Festival of Remembrance.’ The charity event is set for October 1, 2023, at 5 p.m. at the Little Theatre.
