The Every Mikkle Foundation started off as a “mikkle”; a very small group of young Jamaican students who merely wanted to make a change. With little experience and no resources, this small group of people combined their faith, determination and talent to establish the Every Mikkle Foundation. Since its establishment in December 2013, the foundation has helped over fifty residents from three children’s homes to have the Merry Christmas they deserved.
The foundation has grown to over 150 volunteers and helped thousands of children not just in Jamaica but around the world in countries like Haiti, the United States of America, United Kingdom, Colombia, Venezuela, Brazil, Ghana, Kenya, Eritrea, Zimbabwe, Trinidad, and Australia. Executive Director of the Every Mikkle Foundation, Dr. Rachel Brown and Director of Internal Affairs, Pascal Lindsay join us on Sunrise to share more about their project in Ghana.
