Shevrado Oliver portrays ‘Dave Heron’, the lead character in ‘From Yard.’ ‘From Yard’ is a series based on the autobiographical novel “Yardie” by Jamaican David G. Heron. Heron is from Kingston, Jamaica and migrates to the U.S. as a child with his family. We experience his joys and heartbreak as he seeks to find his destiny in his adopted country. The show recently wrapped up the three-day shooting of its pilot episode in Jamaica. Shevrado Oliver joined us on Sunrise to share more about this amazing experience.
