Reggae vs Black History Month

The award-winning documentary African Redemption – The Life and Legacy of Marcus Garvey will have a special Jamaica public debut at the University of the West Indies Mona campus. Senior Lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Psychology, and Social Work, Dr. Michael Barnett, joined us on Sunrise to share his perspective on black history marrying with the reggae theme in the month of February to have a real lasting impact on society. He also shared details about the Peter Tosh celebratory event set for February 23, at the Peter Tosh Museum.
