Queens of Reggae Island Honorary Ceremonies exquisitely honours Jamaica’s influential women in the entertainment and media industry. This award ceremony was established in 2016 by Laurell Nurse. This initiative is to recognise females who were not necessarily upfront as artistes, but played a vital role in the entertainment industry. This year’s staging of the Queens of Reggae Island Honorary Ceremonies is scheduled for Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 7 pm at the Courtleigh Auditorium in St Andrew. Founder of Queen of Reggae Island Honorary Ceremonies (QORIHC) Laurell Nurse shares more on Sunrise about the upcoming event.
