Fidelity Motors (the home of Nissan in Jamaica) recently hosted an event, launching an exciting and revolutionary new technology in Jamaica and the wider Caribbean region. As a further step in Nissan’s electrification plan in the region, the unique e-POWER engine, which is only available from Nissan, was introduced to the Caribbean under the pillar of intelligent power. The letters “E” stand for “electric drive,” while the word “POWER” refers to the force and thrill of using it. In contrast to hybrids, Nissan e-POWER uses a fully electric motor that is entirely responsible for powering the wheels. General Manager of Fidelity Motors, Deborah Stewart and Managing Director of Nissan Importers Business Unit (NIBU), Diana Torres discussed the launch in detail.
