The Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts and the Jamaica Music Museum will join the rest of the world in celebrating International Jazz Day on Sunday, April 30, at the Vera Moody Concert Hall at 5:00 pm. The events commemorating International Jazz Day include a tribute mural honouring women in music who have contributed to the development of the School of Music. The event will feature several renowned musicians. Director of Marketing and Communications at Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts (EMSVPA) Coleen Douglas discussed the upcoming event on Sunrise. Students from (EMSVPA) also jazzed up the morning with a splendid performance.
