Jamaica has a rich and diverse culture. In today’s Home and Garden segment Textile Artist, Sherika Harrige paid homage to our African ancestors through her textile art. Harrige is also the Owner of Empressiveites which specializes in handmade embroidery, appliqué and acrylic painted designs, which brings life to her growing imagination. She showcased several of her cultural pieces featuring icons such as Lousie Bennett-Coverly, Peter Tosh, and Bob Marley on Sunrise. Watch the video below to see the full display.
