Only a month after the Manchester Peace Coalition (MPCo) Project was commemorated, more than thirty people have been certified in conflict resolution. A closing ceremony was held on Sunday in the parish. An idea in 2013 from a visit to Mandeville has now morphed into reality, as twenty-two communities will now have the presence of violent interrupters to aid in domestic disputes.

Following the launch of the MPCo, in January, 42 people were trained by social anthropologist Dr. Herbert Gayle and their team, in violence recognition and treatment. Data collection before and after training is also done to track the progress of impact in communities. Members of the MPCo lauded the training as inspirational.
